I had a honda civic 180i Vtec and i noticed on take off if u release your clutch too fast it spins and trows you out of VVT the best way of tacking off with a car with like that is to take of at about 6000rpm releasing the clutch half way and once reaching about 3500 rpm double clutch and you on your way. It seems difficult at first but you get the hang of it.
