if you really want your civic to hook up well and still have the power you want your gonna have to spend the money on tires.messing with your throttle might let you not spin as much but you just wont have the power . i assume you dont have a full on drag car so you probably dont need racing slicks . i suggest a pair of drag radials they hook up better then street tires but wont break your budget like drag slicks they blend in good too.
