you don't have to crawl under the car as long as it's not lowered.....reach your arm under the front driver side fender and feel the cable...pull it down and cut away at the plastic with a wire cutter....gently give it a tug with some pliers and it should pop right open.....once you do this it's my suggestion to replace the cable....you can find on in the junk yard for as little as 10 dollars.....but this time, run it behind the fender.....this is a common trick car thieves use to get under your hood to disconnect your alarm.....if it's not there, then they would have to pry the hood open......hope i helped
