both GTI and Si are good in their own respectPrice wise Si feels better with the reliability of the Honda.The GTI is not much reliable and i saw somewhere that lot of people are facing reliability issues with the Golf.The Si lacks steps back at the handling.if you want pure fun and no worries about money then go for GTI.but want a reliable and fun to drive car with a little drawbacks choose the Si.when driving even at low speeds the GTI is more fun to drive
