Well I was very 'anti' Japanese cars until I inherited a Honda Civic (old version) and I found it to be fantastic. The New Honda VTEC engine has been described by Jeremy Clarkson as the best engine in the world. I would agree.Yes VW has a good reputation and I have owed them also for many years - but now, for me - go for the new Civic. Enjoy.
