1. Place window in full up position to keep it outta' the way2. Remove door panel. Find and remove all the screws securing the door panel (look carefully, they like to hide). Check under innocent looking plastic covers for screws. You will need to remove the window crank (manual) or switch assembly (electric windows). The panel will also be fastened with plastic fasteners here and there. Pop them off carefully. If you ruin some of them during removal you can get new plastic fasteners at an auto parts store.3. You can now access the bolts holding the mirror assembly on. Remove them. Ta-dah! Mirror assembly is loose! Disconnect plug.4. Install new mirror, hook up cable (make sure it is routed correctly through the door frame) and re-attach with the mirror mount bolts.5. Re-install door panel.6.
