I doubt if it has a limiter on it.Are you 'hitting' the limiter - ie. you can repeatedly get to 120 an it just goes no furthar.Speed limiters are usually only fitted to newer cars.If it is limited in some way - getting an engine ECU remap, or replacing the 'chip' to delimit it will have the desired effect.£30 on ebay for a DIY "super chip" or £500 for a pro remap.ps. Speed does NOT kill. Not being able to drive does....so does showing off to your mates, impairing your skills through drink & drugs, having an unsafe vehicle or misjudging conditions etc. If speed alone killed...then why isn't there more deaths on the road?I hate the anti-speed brigade with a vengence, bunch of overly PC, tree hugging, pseudo environmentalist that believe media and government hype. Just utterly, utterly pathetic. Get sone FACTS before spouting off. The KSI data used for the 'speed kills' campaignes was obtained in part during the 1970's.Hang on, hasn't car safety design, 'pedestrian proofing', and other advances been made in the last 30 years? Uh, huh. And was that 'data' obtained scientifically - NO. The impact speeds were based on driver & police ESTIMATES. Now go away an get something better than just repeating what you've heard....look for the proof!
