I just got a cold air intake for my car just a few days ago, and I would definitely recommend that over a short ram intake. With the short ram you will be drawing in hot air from the engine bay when starting from a dead stop, but no so much as when youre moving. A cold air intake will draw cold air in from behind the front bumper thus creating a bit more HP over a short ram intake. An expected gain would be no more than 10hp, but every car is different depending on what you have installed already and what condition its in. The only drawback is the chance of a hydro lock, where water gets sucked into the pipe and into your engine. Most intakes have the option to install a bypass valve to prevent water from being sucked in. As far as brands go, it really doesnt make a difference since it is just a pipe and a filter, and theyre all made pretty much the same nowadays since all the companies copy each other. I chose AEM just because I like their products. It sounds nice on my integra. For more information, check out this link. The entire site is entirely for integras.http://www.team-integra.net/sections...p?ArticleID=46
