Cold air intake is little better for performance. But for street cars cold air intake can take a gulp of water when you hit a puddle. At highway speeds, you are pumping lots of air in and out of the engine bay. The little temperature difference between outside air and the tons of air that rushes in and out doesn't make much difference.I have a short air intake (with exhaust header pipes) in my 94 Civic. It runs great. I couldn't care less if I could make another 5 horse using cold air intake. I'm much happier knowing I won't damage my engine if I hit a large puddle.Good Luck.===Don't forget to vote for the BEST ANSWER - please - whoever it may be.FACT: You also get +3 points when you vote for BEST ANSWER
