What is your goal for increasing horsepower? If you want to make a serious upgrade in horsepower you will need to use nitrous or regular forced induction. That will cost at least 2k dollars and will be very difficult to install unless you are very mechanically inclined. If you want to improve the horsepower a little bit the best place to start is with the aspiration of the car. The intake, headers, and exhaust can all be opened up to make the car breath better and make more power.Honeslty though the first one will cause you to have very poor traction and the second option will not add much power and could cost you a fair amount of money. I would simply upgrade the tires(won't change horsepower but will increase off the line traction) and call it a day. Front wheel drive cars are not good high horsepower applications becuase of the dynamics of traction.EDIT: For the guy below me. The day a cold air intake adds 20 hp on a 2.0 liter is the day that the NHRA starts drag racing FWD cars.
