depends, Acura/Honda's will run forever and take alot of abuse. But they are sought after by tuners for their engines and bodies for racing. This could make them expensive depending on the area you live in and its import racing scene. Also there are tons of online sites to buy aftermarket bolt on parts. Alot of teenagers like them because they have the ability to be someone of a fast car. The most sought after models are the Type-R and GSR because they have high horsepower engines. The LS and GS are more common to find.IMO if you trust your kid then any car is great, but I know alot of kids back in high school who got them and got in to alot of trouble with tickets and racing because they had one.
