acuras are hondas so that means reliability. my dad had a 89 integra ls and we just swapped the engine it had a tick over 310,000 miles. only problem was the distributor shaft and thats usual thing that goes on these engines. and amazingly if you keep it clean it will run longer(gunk on belt puts resistance to the belts and decrease reliabiltity. and maintanance is the number one key that alone will make it run dang near forever. but when reality hits every engine will die sooner or later but taking care of it will make it last its longest
