As far as the RDX goes, for me it was the noisy harsh engine that made it a car not worth buying. They should have put a more powerful V6 in it, as opposed to a little four cylinder turbo.But to answer your question, you have to consider what you want. A stiffer suspension tends to lend itself to better handling. A softer suspension may be more comfortable but tends to 'wallow' around corners. There are a plethora of American cars with soft floppy suspesion, that handle like a boat. If that's what you want, get one. If you'd rather have a stiffer ride, but significantly better handling then get an RDX or similar.
