I wouldn't be too concerned about it. As others have mentioned, the rev limiter is designed to protect your engine from revving above the engineered limits of the design. I want to believe that Honda knew what they were doing when they set the thresholds where they did. Honda engines are very robust & can handle being pushed. Honda motors, especially their 4 cylinder DOHC models are rev-happy, making their hp in those uppermost rpm ranges. Undoubtedly, continuous daily 'hard' driving will bring added wear & tear. However, I'd rather buy a used RSX from someone who revved it while performing regular maintenance, than from someone docile to the accelerator, but who neglected regular service.
