I'm sorry about your loss. I can assure you that your GS-R parts are now in some thieve's Civic. The insurance companies hate the beloved Integra. At one point from 2003 thru 2005 it held 6 of the top 10 spots as the most stolen car in America. The parts desirablility is high, and they're easy to steal. You can use a key from a civic or a CRX or any Honda and do what's called tumbling and you can unlock the doors quickly. I accidentaly locked myself out in a Walmart parking lot and went to the QuickLube section and talked to the mechanics; one of them owned a Civic CRX. I quickly asked for his key (after almost an hour trying to use a clothing hanger) I tumbled the lock open in 10 seconds. All I can say is I hope you had full coverage insurance. Because unfortunately an Integra can be stripped of all it's parts including engine, wheels, suspension, interior parts, and body panels in less than 45 minutes. I can guarantee you that your insurance company will do everything in its power to try to screw you outta a loss payment. They may even send detectives to interview you to see if it isn't fraud. This happened to me when I wrecked my 1999 GS coupe. The good news was I knew a few law enforement officers who eased the repair process. Thankfully the car wasn't totalled and I ended up replacing the OEM stuff for a Wings West kited Integra. Paid by my insurance agency!
