Default Re: Difference between Traction Control and Limited Slip Differential??

Basically limited slip adds traction, and traction control decreases
loss of traction. A limited slip differential is an actual mechanical
setup that sends power to a second tire when traction is lost on the
drive tire. Traction control usually works by the computer applying
the brake to the drive tires when it senses that traction has been
lost. In some cars the Traction contrl also retards the engine itself
to keep power from reaching the wheels.
