I think it was an ill-conceived idea. The Accord appeals to practical
need and excellent fuel economy could have been a real selling point.
The hybrid biased toward performance could have a place but it is in a
car like a Civic Si which is more of a performance package rather than
a family car with high horsepower.

I hope Honda isn't soured on either concept (accord hybrid or
performance hybrid) and will recognize that they just got the formula
wrong this time.
