If you only do in-town driving, and short trips at that, then frequent oil
changes are a must. Follow the minimum recommendations in your owner's
manual, or "severe duty" cycle, whatever it says, especially if you live
somewhere cold and damp.

We have a Civic HX and a C-RV. Both are good cars. I wouldn't say that the
C-RV is "better", but it is a bigger, more comfortable, more expensive car.
It's almost like a minivan. It does use more fuel than the Civic.
