From what I have read, the performance "increase" is minimal at best. Years
ago, I modified my Sunbeam Tiger (Ford 260 V8) with headers, larger diameter
exhaust, Shelby hydraulic cam and a Holley 4bbl -- certainly improved
things. But, those old Mustang 260 V8s were understressed to start of with,
unlike today's Honda I4s.
