Default Re: Need DIY Intstructions to replace Head Gasket on a 93' Civic DX

Get the Honda service manual for that year, and follow the instructions.
They are very detailed, and the ones I've used have been incredibly
correct - much better than the Chiltons or Haynes that cover 20 years of
cars. This site http://www.hondahookup.com/manuals/ appears to have some for
download, or you can find one on EBay or buy one from Helminc.com.

If your dad has worked on cars, knows how to use a torque wrench, and you
both realize that aluminum is softer than cast iron, you should be okay.
Just take your time and read the book!
