Do not unhook the battery if you have an emissions test within the next six
months or so. Doing so will clear all the ECM readiness flags. These can
take a while to "set" again, and depending on your jurisdiction, can make a
difference in whether you pass or not.

Reset the MIL correctly with a scan tool.
