Well, I guess there's one way to find out hugh, I'll test that piece, I
think there's some volt/ohms testing I can do on it to see if it's
working properly, I'll check that and see if that's the issue. I just
didn't suspect that because the entire distributer is new and the
igniter looks spankin new on it. I replaced my distributer once before,
a few years back, and my old one looked a lot worse 'new' than this
one... Oh well, I'll let you know how the testing goes. Thanks for the
info again.
~the reason I don't think it's that is because my check engine light
will not reset after unhooking the batery for 20 mintues and pulling
the fuses. I guess I'll know in a while, won't be a few weeks until I
can get back under the hood though. Thanks again!
