Isn't remote start all about cold climates? I left the land of ice and
snow years ago but what I remember is that start and go was did not work
in January. It's more like:

1) Get in car. D*mn! it's cold.
2) Start car and defroster.
3) Go outside and scrape the ice. D*mn it's cold!
4) Go back in. It's still cold and I still can't see well enough.
5) Go back out and scrape some more.
6) It's not great but it's good enough. Still very cold. Drive.

Remote start that allowed me to get the heater and defroster going while
staying someplace warm would be quite useful.
