The dealer is lying through his teeth. Unless a modification can be linked
the failure of a particular system or subsystem on the vehicle, it will NOT
void the warranty. If he rejects warranty work based on such a minor
modification, go directly to the district manager of the car manufacturer,
get the warranty work done. The dealer will get demerits on his customer
service report.

Personally I don't want a remote starter, but to each his own.
