You may be right. There must have been a reason since Honda has probably
spent over a million dollars developing and improving the engine system
that is now in almost every 4 cylinder Honda car that has been built over
the last 30 years.
They now have an engine system that is radically different. There had to
be a reason. I down loaded an article about the engine from the Honda
Tuning website. hondatuningmagazine.com
In the search engine at the website, type these words in their search engine:
K series
look for an article on the list entitled,
"All In The Family" by Keith Buglewicz and Henry Dekuyper
click on the picture of engine that is on the floor and
the picture gets really large. I downloaded the picture
and the article.
