Agreed. OEM inserts will last a couple 2-3 seasons while those
Walmart cheapos are lucky to make it through one. Also, aftermarket
blades (the frame) are a major no-no. I bought some non-oem blades,
once, the blade and rubber together being cheaper than oem inserts,
alone. Major mistake! While the blade articulations were made of
solid plastic and looked good, there were no spaces/holes between each
segment. At speed (above 60mph), the solid plastic blades acted like
air damns and the wipers would literally lift off the windsheild
resulting in no wiper action at all. It cost me big bucks to buy new
oem blades/inserts.
