if you dont have a service manual, get one. they make life much easier.
i was changing the pads on a friends tacoma last saturday- lifetime
pads, so i had to take the old ones out and swap for new at autozone.

long story short, i forgot how the pin-holding clips attached, and which
way the anti-rattle clips faced. googling found me some .pdf files of
the service manual and diagrams. suh-weet!

that was the longest part of the job, and saved my friend at *least*
$100 compared to even going to a quickie crap place.
