Could be some fool put non-Honda tranny fluid in it. Cautiously ask the
vendor which type they used, and how long ago. If it was three years
ago, don't buy the car. The tranny is probably TOAST. Hondas with the
wrong ATF will shift like a slamming door, then die. It's still going to
cost you eight (or twelve by some people's standards) quarts of Honda Z1
to remedy the situation.
