Re: anyone with any real anwers??
It is worth whatever you can get for it to be honest. You can tell how much
anything is worth down to the penny. However much you can sell it for that
is how much it is worth. Now going away from philosophy here....
You have a car that you are interested in selling. By adding all of those
modifications you have eliminated about 99 percent of the possible buyers.
Most people don't wan't a car that has had all this stuff done to it and
they certainly don't want to spend money to get this stuff. So now you are
stuck selling to some kids that really would want your car. The problem is
that kids don't have the money laying around to buy this car. They would
have to get a loan. To the bank the car isn't worth any more that blue book
value so the maximum loan amount would be book value. Now assume you have
somebody that has a lot of money laying around and want's to buy a car for
cash. That person probably wants a newer car that they can modify or just a
newer car period so they wouldn't be interested in yours.
The fact is that there are thousands of cars, in the US anyways, that
people have invested thousands in to and they only get pennies on the dollar
for return. Especially when it comes to common cars such as yours. Even
with nicely rebuilt muscle cars or whatever you never get you money out of
them.
