I don't know enough about the CR-V to know if it would cause the same
problems for you as my 2004 Element did. It took a trained mechanic at
the dealership over three hours to install them. Of course, the price
quoted was $350, so.....

My advice: if you're asking for advice here, it is probably a job
better left to someone else. If you really are inclined to do it, then
I would order the lights, look at the installation instructions that
come with them once they arrive, and see if you still feel comfortable
about it. IF you do, great! If not, you're at the right place to
schedule an appointment.

And, I don't know about your local dealership, but ours refuses to
repair third party parts that break. They will replace them with
genuine Honda parts, but they will not repair them....A college gal I
was sitting in the waiting room with brought in her Accord because the
windshield wipers were going in odd directions at odd times. The
service desk people told her that the mechanic told them the problem was
the aftermarket wipers, and that replacing them would solve the problem.
The price: about $80 installed. If I would have heard that, I would
have laughed all the way to the Auto Zone, but it was her money.....

YMMV,
