Turn on the headlights and get someone to watch them while you try the
starter. If the headlights stay bright, the starter is not drawing
current. Could be a bad starter solenoid (that's what's clicking) a
bad spot on the starter's comutator or bad brushes. If the lights do
dim, check your battery connections (loosten, clean and re-tighten),
battery cable connections and ground. It also might be the battery.
