Did the 01 Preludes stick the receiver for the remote door locks/alarm in
the radio like some Civics did? The 99 lude has a separate receiver in the
left side panel by the rear seat and is not tied to the radio at all.
Further, once the key is in the ignition, the remote transmitter is locked
out from actuating the locks.

It appears either to be bad lock actuators (some older Accords had 'cycling'
actuators) or more likely one of the multiplex control units/wiring may be
bad. The 99 lude has 3 control units which interface with the locks - in
the passenger kick panel, driver side kick panel, and driver's door (built
into the power window master switch). The service manual has 10 pages of
control unit diagnostics and 13 pages on door lock/receiver/transmitter
diagnostics. But nothing about cycling actuators.
